Duties: To facilitate a relationship between school and home, which is conducive to student learning and social achievement, conduct home visits, advise students and families of community programs that would assist in student learning, social achievement, and resources for the entire family. Coordinate and assign college and community volunteers to visit Meany Middle School.
Comments: My work with the Seattle School District has allowed me to network with the community the students live in. Thus, I am able to empathize and understand the needs of the people I am required to help.

Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Washington.

Noteworthy Accomplishments:
Created Each One Teach One Boys Group at Dearborn Park Elementary.
In this mentoring group for boys, I educated elementary boys of colors on the importance of social skills, cultural intelligence, and future goal setting.

Visited Ghana, West Africa and adopted secondary school in Accra.

2nd place honors in Middle School Urban Debate Championship

Two time invited speaker to Washington Association of Black School Educators (WABSE) Conference.
